Not affiliated with FIRST

FTC Analytics is an independent, non-commercial project built by an FTC team. It is not produced, endorsed, sponsored by, or affiliated with FIRST®, and “FIRST Tech Challenge”, “FTC” and related marks belong to their respective owners. Public team, event and match data is sourced through the FIRST Tech Challenge Events API.

Data accuracy

Team, event and match records come from FIRST’s own public API. The statistics derived from that data — OPR, npOPR, rankings, win probabilities, projected scores and similar calculated metrics — are computed independently and are not provided or verified by FIRST. They are estimates meant for general interest and scouting, not official results.

Figures are cached briefly and refreshed as events run, so they can lag, be incomplete, or be wrong. Match predictions are a model, and a model is an opinion with arithmetic in it. Check official FIRST sources before relying on any number here for a competition decision.

No warranty, use at your own risk

This site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Its authors are not liable for any loss, damage or consequence arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or the data it presents.

What is stored

There are no accounts here, and nothing below identifies you.

  • No analytics, no tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising or third-party tracking script, and no sign-up. Nothing on this site builds a profile of you.
  • Preference cookies. Three small first-party cookies remember how you left the site: ftc_season, ftc_theme and ftc_lang — the season, the light or dark theme, and the language. They hold those values and nothing else.
  • Favorites. The teams you follow are kept in a ftc_watchlist cookie, as a plain list of team numbers, and mirrored to the site’s database so the list survives a cleared browser. It is a list of teams, not of people: nothing in it says who you are.
  • Recent searches. Stored only in your own browser, under ftc_recent_searches in local storage, so your own history appears on your own device. It never leaves the browser and never reaches the server, and the Clear button really does delete it.
  • Uploaded schedules. If you use the scouting upload to read a printed or photographed match schedule, the file’s name, type, size and the text read out of it are stored so the result can be shown and checked. Do not upload a document that contains anything you would not publish.
  • Server logs. Like any site, the hosting platform records standard technical request data — IP address, browser type, timestamp — for security and abuse prevention. It is not used to build profiles, is not sold or shared, and is not tied to any account, because there are none.

Third-party links

This site links out to FIRST’s own sites and to team social accounts. Those are run by other people, have their own privacy practices, and nothing here controls them.

Reporting a problem

To report an error, or to ask that something about your team be corrected or removed, write to ftccelestial@gmail.com or message our Instagram from your official team account. Corrections to competition data itself belong with FIRST, since this site only reports what their API returns.

Changes to this page

This page is revised as the site changes; the date above is the last revision. It describes how the site works today, and it is written by the people who build it rather than by a lawyer — for a specific legal question about your own use of the site, ask someone qualified.

Official competition data from FTC Events. This data may not be used for commercial purposes. See also the About page for where each figure comes from.
